Natasha Khamjani

Natasha Khamjani is an established choreographer with over fifteen years of experience across the industry. Natasha also created a new piece with East London Dance and White Mink Productions based around the music fusion that is Electro Swing (see video below) This was performed at various venues including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

She was delighted to be head-hunted in 2011 as Mass Movement Coordinator and Choreographer for the London Olympics 2012, and has just finished work on all four ceremonies with the creative teams. In addition, she was the Director for the education project Tell It for Theatre Centre, looking at how the Olympics affected the youth living on its door step.

In 2012 she was the Artistic Director and Stylist for a new show stopping piece, London’s Calling, for the resident company of the Big Dance Bus.  Other recent projects include an education project with Garsington Opera and a Research and Development period on Folk Dance Remixed. She is Choreographer for Qdos entertainment and will be working with Eastenders’ star Steve McFadden this year’s pantomime in Aladdin.

Future projects include working with Director Karen Gillingham and Composer Hannah Conway to develop Ed Vere’s award winning children’s book Mr. Big into a new piece of children’s theatre. Natasha also continues to teach in education department of Mimbre, a groundbreaking circus company that fuses acrobatics and street dance.
