LUCY KAHLO

Lucy began dancing in 1986 participating in creative and jazz classes at Swindon Dance and then when she reached 11 years she joined Just for Kicks Youth Dance Group, the Texaco Youth Dance Course (the forerunner to the CAT) and assisted during the creative classes for 4 year olds. Lucy stayed on YTP until she was 17 and studied A-level Dance, Drama and Psychology at Swindon College.
Lucy then took a gap year before accepting a place on the BA (Hons) Arts Management course at London South Bank University. Lucy studied for three years and having specialised dance management she worked with the Cholmondeleys and Featherstonehaughs on their touring production ‘3’. She continued working in the London dance industry and spent her last 19 months working at the Royal Academy of Dance before she moved back to Swindon to join the administration team of the CAT in 2007. Lucy has two children and in 2018 she started learning the harp.
