CHOREOGRAPHIC SKILLS

Hannah is a multi disciplinary dance maker, performer and teacher.  She trained at London Studio Centre gaining a BA (hons) in Dance and Theatre Art.  Over the past 7 years she has performed and choreographed throughout the UK with various companies, specialising in contemporary, dance theatre, tap, aerial dance and physical theatre.

Since July 2011 Hannah has been performing with Wired Aerial Theatre as an aerial performer, touring worldwide in their ground breaking show ‘As the world tipped’ written and directed by Nigel Jamieson. Recently amongst others they have performed at the opening night of Sydney Festival,  Tollwood Festival in Munich, and the opening night at Fira Tarrega, Spain.

Since 2005 Hannah has been a founding member, assistant director, dancer and choreographer with Swerve Dance Theatre Company who are an associate company of Swindon Dance.  Other recent performing credits include Seven Sisters Group, Marc Brew, Fiona Millward and Yael Flexer, Marie-Louise Flexen, Foot in Hand and Curious Company.

Hannah was awarded the Alpha Associate Award from Swindon Dance and Bath ICIA to develop her choreography and  The Exuberant Scholarship to perform as part of The Solos Project at The Burton Taylor.  Hannah has choreographed and performed with The ‘O Biscuits Collective’ based at The Pegasus Theatre, Oxford who specialise in Theatre Shows for children and families.

She is passionate about education work, choreographing and teaching at Wessex Academy in partnership with Dance United on projects with young people.  Hannah choreographs and artistically leads Wessex Boyssince 2011.  She has taught and been commissioned to choreograph for various youth companies, adult performance groups and classes through Dancexchange,  Swindon Dance, Oxford City Council, Pegasus Theatre, Gloucestershire Dance, Anjali, Foot in Hand and Velcro Dance Company.
