EX-YDA STUDENT CARYS STATON IS NOMINATED AT THIS YEARS NATIONAL DANCE AWARDS

We are delighted to announce that ex-Swindon Contemporary Programme dancer Carys Staton has been nominated for Still Current - Russell Maliphant Company, in the 'Outstanding Female Performance (Modern)' category for the National Dance Awards.
Carys joined Russell Maliphant in 2011 after graduating from Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary alongside YDA Patron Thomasin Gulgec for The Rodin Project and has been touring with the company internationally with Still Current.
Thomasin who was a student at Swindon Dance won this award in the male category for his role in Christopher Bruce's 'Hush' in 2009. Russell, Thomasin and Carys have a long term relationship with Swindon Dance and returned here (along with other members of the company) during the October Intensive to teach YDA students click here for more info.
