Amy grew up in Westbury, Wiltshire. She had her first taste of professional training on the CAT scheme at Swindon Dance then went on to train at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. After completing her degree she's gone on to perform for Christopher Spraggs, Hannah Vincent Dance Company, Monixarts for Cyboria Manifesto, Sarah Poekert, Rosie Kay's 5 Soliders community piece choreographed by Stephen Mason and most recently working with Lush cosmetics directing and performing for their showcases and events.

As well as performing Amy started up her own dance company Amy Foskett Dance (AFD) in 2017 who have performed at Town Hall Arts and Arc Theatre Trowbridge, Addition Festival in Camberley, Emerge Festival 2016 and 2018, Resolutions 2018 and 2019, Swindon Dance, Bath and Maidenhead. Amy Foskett Dance is the resident Contemporary Dance Company at the New London Performing Arts Centre in North London where she also teaches their contemporary classes. Amy Foskett is being support by Swindon Dance as part of their Young Professionals Programme 2018/2020. Amy is an experienced teacher teaching workshops within AFD but also teaches regularly for NLPAC and running their Contemporary Youth Company, Highgate Ballet School and Fresh Arts.
